Schenkeveld acquires neighbour Gebroeders van der Lelij
Management

Schenkeveld has reached agreement with Gebroeders van der Lelij to purchase the 7.3 ha nursery at Den Hoorn. This location is adjacent to Schenkeveld Den Hoorn location on Veenakkerweg.
With this takeover, Schenkeveld is fulfilling part of its growth ambitions and can further optimise the organisations and energy management of both locations. From 1 December 2024, the present pepper nursery will be transferred, after which the cultivation system will be converted to cucumber cultivation.
With this step, Schenkeveld is growing to a total area of 90 hectares. This fully fits into the growth and optimisation path that has been mapped out, shares. "We thank Arjan and Izaak van der Lelij for the opportunity to take over the nursery and wish them both every success in the future."
The growth offers room for further growth of current employees, but also for attracting new colleagues. That is what Schenkeveld is looking for.
