Tomato cultivation

An important part within Schenkeveld is all the records we keep. This is particularly important for cultivation. We record every day what we do and what happens in the garden. With the aim of contoling and improving where necessary. We do this to control cultivation in the best possible way. Every day, we register everything that happens climatologically
happens in the garden, almost all these records can be read on the climate computer. We check the watering in the garden every day. We then measure the cc per dropper/ the EC and drain of the previous day which we collect in buckets.

Every week we check the values at the laboratory. This tells us what's in the water (pouring/mat and drain water). We then respond to this, for instance by adding more or less nutrients to the water. The nutrients we add are for the growth and flowering of the plant. Every week, we also count how many tomatoes the plant has produced and measure how much it has grown. From these counts, we can estimate the production for the coming weeks. These were a few examples of registrations, behind all registrations there is an idea.
