Schenkeveld continues to grow!

Thursday,11 June, the signatures were signed for the purchase of the land to start building Greenhouse West and Greenhouse South at Schenkeveld Schiphol. Three years ago, Schenkeveld started construction at Schenkeveld Schiphol. After a hefty delay, due to the bombs found in the purchased land, the first pile went into the ground a day after Easter 2017 for the construction of greenhouse North.
Now, three years on, Schenkeveld Schiphol, with two modern lighted greenhouses of 11 hectares each and business premises capable of processing over 300,000 kilos of vine tomatoes per day, is all set for further expansion.
Schenkeveld merged with Kwekerij De Kabel in early 2019. "We see the added value of this every day" says Richard Hartensveld. "One example is the clout you create together. For example, together you are better able to deal flexibly with new developments, such as tightening the necessary hygiene protocols."
"Now we are fully set again and will continue planning for the new building at Schiphol" says Pieter van der Wel, Site Manager Schenkeveld Schiphol. Pieter likes a thorough preparation when it comes to this new-build project, so that later during the project everything runs like clockwork!
