At Schenkeveld, we always want to have a birthday!

When I think back to the days some 17 years ago and compare them with today, I see a world of difference. For a lot of people nowadays, it is almost self-evident that companies in the Netherlands are increasingly taking care of their employees' well-being. For me, that remains special and I'm sure many others feel the same way. Treating your employees well and respectfully is not yet a matter of course everywhere.

At Schenkeveld, we want everyone to feel appreciated! We do our utmost to show that as much as possible. A birthday is an excellent opportunity to reflect on this. Having a birthday is a celebration and Schenkeveld thinks it deserves a present, with the beautiful gifts provided by our lady from bQurius. Super modern VT home style and home accessories are in great demand, and the bigger the better, ha ha! .

This reminds me of a Polish tradition of a bonbon box. The bonbon box is one metre, with only eight chocolates. It is not about how expensive or what the gift is, but how big the gift is! A five-euro note is also still considered better than individual coins for the same amount. So we like to give our employees a gift to make them feel like it's actually their birthday. With this
we want to help show that we think of our employees, that we value everyone and we are committed to all our teams.

We get a lot of compliments and thanks, which we really like! We are therefore quite a bit proud of this, because our employees are also proud of us!
