Top sport!

At the end of the year, we traditionally take a look back. In our newsletter (see end of blog), we do so with lots of photos of the first year after the merger between Schenkeveld and De Kabel. The plans of both companies have merged into one joint plan, but the Passion for Perfection remains! Cooperation, growth and optimisation are Schenkeveld's core values. These are not just slogans, but these values show who we are and what we stand for. We like to do things together, both within the company and in collaboration with other companies. Because why make things difficult if they can be done together!

Growing is what we do all day long. Of course the growth of the tomato plants in the greenhouses, but it also includes the growth and development of employees and further growth of the company. After all, everything that gets attention grows!

And the third core value is optimisation. Having the drive every day to want to do better than the day before. Wanting to connect the dots and continuously striving to improve.

These three core values together with the Passion for Perfection create top sport mentality within our company. That means working hard, but also performing beautifully together! And say it yourself, wouldn't we all rather win than lose?

All in all, we have made great strides in 2019 and we can all be proud of this. Everyone contributes to this whether you are a student, a temp or a supplier. Whether you work in the greenhouse or in the office. We would like to thank everyone who has worked with us to further grow and improve Schenkeveld! Can we count on you again in 2020?
